SISA Conference 2012
The second annual Student
Initiatives in Sustainable Agriculture Conference will take place on March
31st and April 1st of 2012 at Lawrence University in Appleton Wisconsin.
The conference will include:
*A keynote address by agricultural economist John Ikerd
*Presentations by students, farmers, and entrepreneurs
*Screenings of documentaries "American Meat" and "Queen of
the Sun"
*Breakout workshops and discussion sessions
*Panel discussion with local farmers
*Local beer and gourmet soda tasting
*Live music and dancing
